A dedicated and experienced educator, Paula has been a secondary school teacher at public and private Portuguese schools since 2008. Paula began her career in Paris, France where she was part of an international team working on the development of a European medical dictionary, but her love of teaching was sparked while teaching Portuguese to French corporate clients. Alongside her teaching roles within schools in the Lisbon region, Paula has continued tutoring Portuguese and French to private clients. Born and raised in Lisbon, Paula is a mother of three, two of which are currently at university in Portugal. She has a BA in Linguistics & Education from Nova University of Lisbon and an MSc (Master of Science) in Language Sciences from Paris University VIII.
