An Oxford University graduate (BA, MA, MPhil), Mariana was an Invited Lecturer at Oxford and an Admissions Interviewer for 9 years, during which time she assessed over 300 UCAS applications and interviewed over 150 candidates. Given this experience, she has unique insights into what the more competitive UK and European universities seek in their students.

Mariana has been assisting students with applications to universities in the UK and the EU for nearly 15 years. She is a published author who has taught at Oxford, King’s College London, Lisbon University, and Oeiras International School (Portugal). She has a BA, MA and MPhil from the University of Oxford, a PhD from King’s College London, and a Post-Doctorate from the University of Lisbon and the University of Oxford, all in English and Portuguese Literature.
