Jacquie’s twenty-year international education journey stems from a passion for foreign languages, with Spanish as her first language, travel, and fostering connections between students and optimal academic opportunities.
Her work in International Admissions began as Assistant Director for Latin America at Boston University and then as Associate Director of International Admissions at Brandeis University, travelling to schools worldwide and reviewing and overseeing international application decisions. In 2016, she transitioned to the ‘other side of the desk’ as a University Advisor at UWCSEA (United World College Southeast Asia) Singapore, where she advised students applying globally (US, UK, Canada, Asia, Australia/New Zealand, and Europe).
Jacquie leverages her deep understanding of the complexities of the college and university search and admissions process to effectively guide students and families. Her approach is characterized by encouragement and empowerment, aiming to help students think critically, take ownership, and cultivate the independence necessary for successfully navigating the next stage of their lives.
Jacquie holds a BA in International Studies with a minor in French from Syracuse University and a Master’s in Administrative Science from Boston University. Outside of her professional pursuits, Jacquie finds joy in hikes and walking with her family and dog. She actively supports her young children’s passion for sports, cooking, and science.
